Financing or refinance the exports of goods by the borrowers and BP Bunge Montevideo.

The Facility was structured as: 

(i) a self-liquidated and fully collateralized solution whereby proceeds arising from the company’s exports of eligible goods originated from Brazil and directly paid by selected eligible buyers located across the globe will be used to fully repay all lenders in a centralized collection account located in New York;

(ii) secured by a robust security structure which includes a combination of property, plant and equipment, among others. It also entailed putting together a complex documentation package in multiple jurisdictions and involving 5 different external counsel from New York, Brazil and Uruguay.
