Energy Infrastructure Partners’ (EIP) has acquired the 49% interest in the Wikinger ofshore wind farm from Iberdrola. The €700 million acquisition was partially financed by credit facilities of an aggregate amount of €400 million ($415.4 million). The deal was structured as a holdCo financing and involved extensive discussions between the lenders and Iberdrola on adapting the shareholder agreement.
